Dr. Cat Hien Nguyen, DDS
I’m passionate about dentistry and know that my work will improve the quality of life for many families. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, one of the top five dental schools in the nation, in 2002.
UCLA ingrained invaluable ethics that guide my everyday practice of dentistry. A beloved professor of mine reiterated a very simple and effective phrase, “Treat every patient as if he or she was your mother.” I have upheld that motto ever since and will continue to do so for as long as I treat patients. I found a career in dentistry that’s more fulfilling and promising than I ever thought possible.
The only way to be at the forefront of technology and current with the standard of care, in my opinion, is to be a continuous student. I am constantly involved in learning new techniques, new technology that would make the whole dental experience more enjoyable for our patients.
Not only me, I’m proud to say that my entire dental family are dedicated to providing top notch care. However, science does not substitute for the strong one-on-one relationships that my team and I strive to build with everyone we treat. I can honestly say we not only care about our patients’ dental health, we care about their overall well-being.

Anna – Office Manager
After graduating from college with a degree in Secondary Education, I realized it wasn’t for me and joined the US Navy where I served our country for five years. After the Navy, I completed my training for Dental Assisting. However, once on the job, I instinctively know that my skills are best utilized behind the desk, not next to a patient as an assistant.
My favorite aspect of working at Pearly Whites is the relationships I’ve been able to build with all of our patients. I do everything in my power to make everyone’s visit a positive experience, ensuring that patients receive the optimal care they need, and helping them get the most benefits from their dental insurance
My husband and I relocated to Las Vegas in July 2006 from Seattle. We are football fanatics and enjoy every minute of football season, both the professional and college levels.
Raquel – Registered Hygienist
I consider myself a Las Vegas native, having been here since 1994. I have been a full-time Dental Hygienist since 2002. I understand my patients’ needs and expectations and always strive to excel them.
I custom tailor a dental hygiene regimen for all patients, taking into consideration all the attributes that make them different. I always keep in mind my patient’s comfort and overall well-being as a priority when delivering the utmost in dental care. As a hygienist, I’m excited to be working for an office that allows me to use the most advanced dental technologies such as laser gingival treatment, piezo ultrasonic scalers, digital xrays, to name just a few.
I have witnessed Dr. Nguyen’s work where she has rehabilitated and restored patients to full function. Cases that began with fearful patients with multiple dental issues and restored them with multiple implants, veneers, and she has given patients beautiful, functional and healthy smiles. Having worked with many offices before, I have entrusted my family to her care which says a lot about her level of skill.
I am engaged to be married to a wonderful man. Dr. Nguyen restored my fiancee’s smile beautifully, and I could not be happier. I have another man in my life and that’s my little boy Brandon who is my pride and joy.
Sergio – Registered Hygienist
I have worked in the field of dentistry for over twenty years. Before becoming a hygienist, I was a certified dental management administrator, and before that, a registered and certified dental assistant. I speak Spanish fluently, which comes in handy when communicating with native Spanish speaking patients.
I enjoy working with each patient on his or her individual hygiene needs and see their progress. I value an ethical practice and place the well-being of my patients above all else. I have found a home at Pearly Whites because we share the same values. When not working, I love traveling and playing soccer, both of which keep me young and healthy.
Stephanie – Dental Assistant
I am very fortunate to be a part of a team that has a strong emphasis on both teamwork and, most importantly, ethical patient care.
I have been a Dental Assistant for twelve years, and enjoy what I do very much. I have learned so much and I am amazed at how far the dental field has evolved from when I started out. Being able to help patients makes this such a rewarding field. My decision to enter the field of dental assisting has been a beneficial steppingstone towards my future goals.
